Dr Terry Garde presents his three angles of approach to improve the development of The Artisanal & Small-Scale Mining sector. This is a fantastic presentation that truly embodies the ideal of a miner mentoring his fellow miners in the Global Community Miners Forum! The question and answer dialogue afterwards is extremely intriguing as well. Dr Garde is a seasoned professional with more than 45 years of experience in the mining sector; He has experience spanning multiple mining methods and metals, and in multiple facets of mining; such as technical, managerial, legal, mining education, and consulting. Dr Gardes expertise has been gained in the mines and metals sector of Zimbabwe, which allows him to work anywhere in the world; where his experience in managing under difficult circumstances makes him an invaluable resource. Dr Garde recently graduated with a PhD, based on research in artisanal gold mining within East Africa. We are very happy to have a part of the GCMF. Thank you Terry!
